React JS

The most popular library now in the market, and every developer is trying to learn this library, which is called as 'REACT'.

REACT is javascript library which is used for the front-end purpose of the website, we can also call it as a Front-end Javascript Library. React is developed by Facebook in May 2013.

Reason for making React :-

Facebook was facing a problem which cannot be solved by the simple way i.e, (vanilla Javascript) so the issue was, the notification number was not disappearing even if the message is readed so to overcome this problem a TEAM from Facebook worked on this Library and finally they published it on May 2013.

At the start, when it got launch it was getting trolled by developers as it was created because of a single issue. But after using, else is history.

Functionalities in React:-

In the realm of front-end development, React stands as a dominant force, offering a robust ecosystem and an efficient way to build dynamic and interactive user interfaces. Its component-based architecture and reusable building blocks make it a go-to choice for developers seeking versatility and performance.

  1. Component-Based Architecture: React is built around reusable components, allowing developers to create modular UI elements that can be composed together to build complex interfaces.

  2. JSX (JavaScript XML): JSX is a syntax extension that allows mixing HTML-like code within JavaScript, making it easier to write and visualize component structure.

  3. Virtual DOM (Document Object Model): React uses a virtual DOM to efficiently update the actual DOM. It compares the virtual DOM with the real DOM and applies only the necessary changes, reducing the number of manipulations on the actual DOM for performance optimization.

  4. Unidirectional Data Flow: React follows a unidirectional data flow, where data flows in a single direction, making it easier to understand and debug the application.

  5. State Management: React allows managing local component state using setState in class components and the useState hook in functional components. This enables components to manage their data and re-render based on state changes.

  6. Lifecycle Methods and Hooks: Class components have lifecycle methods (e.g., componentDidMount, componentWillUnmount) while functional components use hooks (e.g., useEffect, useState) to manage side effects, state, and lifecycle.

  7. Conditional Rendering and Reusable Components: React enables conditional rendering of components based on certain conditions or states, making the UI dynamic. This, coupled with the reusability of components, allows for efficient and scalable development.

  8. Event Handling: React provides an efficient way to handle events using synthetic events, similar to handling events in standard DOM elements but with better cross-browser compatibility.

  9. Props (Properties): Props are used for passing data from parent to child components. They are read-only and help in making components more dynamic and reusable.

  10. Context API: React's Context API allows sharing data across the component tree without explicitly passing props through each level of the tree. This is particularly useful for global state management.

  11. Error Handling with Error Boundaries: React introduces error boundaries to catch JavaScript errors during rendering, helping in displaying a fallback UI instead of crashing the whole application.

  12. Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG): React can be used for server-side rendering or static site generation, improving SEO and initial page load times.

  13. React Router: React Router is a popular routing library that enables navigation and routing within a React application, facilitating the creation of single-page applications (SPAs).

  14. Optimization Techniques: Techniques like memoization, virtualization, and code splitting help optimize React applications for better performance and user experience.

I started learning React from today, i am following https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxgM9k1rg0Q&t=1223s. Hitesh sir's teaching awesome. I personally followed and completed his both javascript series (English,Hindi). I love the way he teaches; from the scratch to the in-depth functionalities.

I will suggest if anyone wants to learn React library watch Hitesh sir's tutorials for better understanding.

Note - It's my First time to write Blog and post it on some platform so,hope you'll like it .I'll definitely improve myself

Hitesh Choudhary Thank you sir for this free knowledge. W chaiaurCode :)
